Bhubaneswar, Aug 15: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday forecast heavy rainfall in several districts of Odisha during the next five days.
As per the midday bulletin of IMD’s Bhubaneswar centre, heavy rainfall ranging from 7 to 11 cm accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning are likely to occur over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Boudh, Rayagada till 8.30 AM of Friday.
The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre issued a yellow warning (be updated) for these districts.

✨Similarly, the weathermen issued a yellow warning (be updated) of heavy rainfall for several districts in the State on August 16, 17, 18 and 19.
The Met Centre also predicted light to moderate rain or thundershower at many places in the State during the next five days.
