Bhubaneswar, Aug 1: Heavy rainfall activity over several districts in Odisha is likely to continue for next two days, predicted the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday.
The IMD's Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre issued yellow warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) for one or two places in Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Boudh, Sonepur, and Sambalpur districts today.
The Met Centre also forecast heavy rainfall (7 to 11 cm) is likely to occur at isolated places of Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Balangir, Nuapada, Nayagarh, Khordha, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Kalahandi districts today.

✨Similarly, the weathermen said heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Bargarh, Keonjhar, Sambalpur and Deogarh districts tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the highest rainfall of 156 mm was recorded at Baripada during the last 24 hours till 8.30 am today.
