According to meteorological reports, the low-pressure system has moved northwestward over the past 24 hours and is expected to continue its trajectory.

The system's progression may bring heavy rainfall and strong winds in affected areas.

Authorities have advised residents to stay alert and prepare for possible localised flooding, particularly in low-lying areas.

Fishermen are cautioned against venturing into deep waters as sea conditions are likely to deteriorate.
