Bhubaneswar, Aug 20: Heavy rainfall lashed several places in Bhubaneswar, Odisha on Tuesday afternoon.
The State Capital witnessed traffic jam and waterlogging at many places, and power supply disruption for a few hours due to the heavy rainfall. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded both sides of the roads under the several fly-overs in the city.
The Bomikhal-Rasulgarh road, Nayaplli road near Iskcon temple, Jayadev Vihar, CRPF square and other major locations were waterlogged after heavy downpour.

✨On the social media, many people posted photographs and videos of waterlogged areas near Bomikhal, Jayadev Vihar, Iskcon Temple road in the city.
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall over several districts of the State during next two days.
