Bhubaneswar, June 17: Amid heatwave conditions, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday directed all the District Collectors of the State to take a call on reopening of schools after the summer vacation considering the weather condition in their respective districts during the next three days, official said.
"Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi directed all the District Collectors of the State to take the decision to re-open all the government, private and government aided schools (from Class I to XII) based on the weather the weather condition in their respective districts," I &PR department said on a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The order will remain in force till June 20, it added.
