Keonjhar, Jun 18: Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling narrowly escaped a road accident while traveling to Mayurbhanj on Thursday, officials said.
The incident occurred near Jagmohanpur under Telkoi police station limits in Odisha's Keonjhar district along National Highway-49.

According to sources, the Minister’s vehicle met with an accident after the pilot car ahead suddenly applied brakes. The collision caused disruption on the route, but the Minister remained unharmed.

Following the accident, Mahaling continued his journey to Mayurbhanj in another vehicle.

Local police said that the Minister was safe and no serious injuries were reported.
