Cuttack, Dec 6: Another victim of the gruesome Baranga petrol-pouring-and-burning incident succumbed to severe injuries while undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack this morning. 

The deceased was identified as Dinabandhu Rout. Earlier, Dinabhandhu's wife Sasmita had succumbed to her burn injuries. 

The ghastly incident of a man pouring petrol on his son and daughter-in-law and setting them on fire occurred in Barsinga village under the Baranga police station limits on November 30. Gobardhan Rout poured petrol on his son Dinabandhu and daughter-in-law and lit fire when the latter two were eating in the house. The couple suffered critical burn injuries. Susmita could not sustain 90 percent burn injuries. Dinabandhu had been in the ICU. However, he succumbed this morning. 

The police have arrested the accused father, Gobardhan Rout, and forwarded him to the court.
