Bhubaneswar, Aug 30: The State government has decided to open new government colleges in three districts- Kendrapara, Jagatsinghopur, and Jharsuguda.
Higher Education Minister Suryabansi Suraj said this in the State Assembly in response to a question from BJD MLA Ganeshwar Behera.
The Minister also said that the State government is mulling to bring back the senate system in the universities soon.

✨He said the Univerisity Amendment Act- 2020 will be recorrected to reaffirm the senate system. He said self-governance will be restored in the universities and the power of recruitment will be vested in them.
