Prompt action by railway staff and officials ensured the derailment was swiftly addressed. Relief trains, along with machinery and manpower, were immediately deployed to begin recovery and restoration work.
Passenger services remain unaffected, with trains operating normally on the mainline connecting Bhadrak–Cuttack–Visakhapatnam. According to East Coast Railway sources, freight movement toward Paradip has not experienced any significant disruption either.
