Berhampur, Aug 17: Two buses collided head-on near Sunantara Chhak in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Sunday morning, leaving both drivers critically injured.
As per reports, the incident occurred on the Hinjili–Shergad route, when a private bus heading from Hinjili to Shergad and an OSRTC bus enroute from Shergad to Puri. The collision took place at Sunantara Chhak, causing severe damage to both vehicles and panic among passengers.
Eyewitnesses at the scene said that both drivers sustained serious injuries due to the impact and were rushed to the Hinjili Sub-Divisional Hospital for emergency treatment. Their condition remains critical, sources said.
