Fishermen were having a tough time during their movements on the route, which stretches to nearly 2 km. In response to the request of the villagers, the Adani Foundation has installed 22 solar-powered streetlights along the fishing jetty route.

In a special event, Sandeep Jaiswal, Business Head, Gopalpur Port inaugurated the project. I congratulate the Adani Foundation for making this route safer and convenient, be it late in the night or early in the morning,” stated Shyama.

In addition, medicines were also distributed free of cost. During the camp, more than 360 children, women and the elderly were examined and consulted with doctors about their various health problems.
