Athagarh, Nov 14: The most sacred 'Gajabhoga' was offered to Lord Dhabaleswar at Mancheswar on Cuttack's city outskirts in the intervening night of Kartika Shukla Troyodashi and Chaturdashi(the 13th and 14th days of the light fortnight of the holy month Kartika). 

The Gajabhoga is offered to Baba Dahabaleswar on the auspicious day of Bada Osha. Devotees offer this Bhoga to the Lord to gain His blessings. Baba Dhabaleswar Likes the Gajabhoga most.  

Besides Gajabhoge, 'Taran' was also cooked and offered to the Lord. 'Taran is prepared in Shiva Temple premises and offered to the Lord across the State on the Bada Osha Day of Panchaka (the sacred last five days of the holy month Kartika). 

Lord Dhabaleswar is giving Darshan to devotees in 'Harihar' Besha today. Large numbers of devotees have already lined up to have Darshan of the Lord in this rare adornment. 

Tomorrow is Kartika Purnima,  the final day of Panchaka. On this day, devotees float Danga (boat), made of paper and banana tree skin, and visit Shiva temples. Thus, lakhs of devotees are expected to visit Baba Dhabaleswar Temple tomorrow.
