Keonjhar, May 25: The villagers from Jala Dihi village under Bansapal block in Keonjhar district decided not to cast their votes Saturday showing their dissatisfaction over lack of development works despite repeated requests.
The village is facing issues like drinking water and poor road condition for a long time. Despite informing from the Sarapanch to district collector about the ongoing issues multiple times, they have received only disappointment in response.
The frustrated villagers finally decided to act and they couldn't have found better time than polling day. Hundreds of villagers began their protest in front of the polling booth deciding against casting votes.

✨Bansapal BDO Bikrani Kispata arrived at the spot and with the help of police, he tried to solve the matter. However, the villagers were in no mood to compromise and sticked to their demands saying the protest would not end unless their issues are rightfully addressed. Kispata refused to comment in this regard.
