Bhadrak, Jan 12: The Commissionerate police on Friday nabbed a man who raped a woman and duped many on the pretext of solving their problems like infertility, poverty and bad luck. 

The fraud has been identified as E.Nilambar Pani. He allegedly raped a woman on the pretext of solving her infertility problem. 

According to the information, the accused took the woman to a closed room and asked her to keep a clove under her jaw and not to swallow it. Then he forcibly sexually assaulted her.

The matter came to the fore after the victim lodged a complaint against the cheat in Bhadrak police station few days back. Following a frantic search police managed to nab the culprit today. 

After investigating, police also got to know that he has multiple cases registered in his name under different police stations for duping people.
