Koraput, Jul 25: A forest ranger from the Jeypore Forest Division has came under the lens of Vigilance department following allegations of possessing disproportionate assets.

Acting on reliable inputs, a Vigilance team from Jeypore carried out simultaneous raids at four separate locations linked to Ranger Ramachandra Nepak.

The primary raid was conducted at Nepak’s residence located in Jeypore.

Reports suggest that the Vigilance officials are verifying documents and property records in search of evidence pointing to illegal wealth accumulation.

This case adds to a series of corruption-related probes currently being carried out across Odisha, reflecting intensified efforts to clamp down on financial irregularities within government departments.
