Koraput, June 4: At least five critically ill patients, who were admitted to a hospital in Koraput for treatment, died after allegedly being administered the wrong injection by the hospital staff.
According to reports, the shocking event unfolded late on Tuesday night at Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital in Koraput.
Reports indicate that five critically ill patients from different regions—including Koraput, Borigumma, Kalahandi, Semiliguda, and Machhara—were admitted to the hospital's ICU and surgical ward for treatment. However, by 11 PM, three patients in the ICU and two in the ward were declared dead.
Following the incident, tensions escalated in the hospital.
