Kendrapara, Mar 16: At least five persons sustained critical injuries following a clash between two groups over a land dispute Kansara village under Kendrapara Sadar police station.

According to reports, the conflict arose due to a long-standing land dispute between the families of one Jayanta Sah and Nimai Parida. Tensions escalated further when one side attempted to resolve the matter, leading to heated arguments. The situation took an ugly turn after both the families attacked each other. Following the incident, five persons sustained critical injuries.

On being informed, police reached the spot and rescued the injured persons to the nearby hospital.

While a case has been registered against the accused persons, the families of the injured have not provided any statements regarding the incident.
