Five Cities In Odisha Record Temperature Below 10 Degree Celsius

Bhubaneswar, Jan 20: Bone-shivering winter continues to disrupt normal life in Odisha with night temperatures remaining low at different places across the State.
At least five cities recorded temperatures below 20 Degrees Celsius last night. According to the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, Phulbani recorded the lowest temperature of 7 Degrees Celsius, followed by Rourkela at 7.2 Degrees Celsius, Jharsuguda 7.7 Degrees Celsius, Sonepur at 9 Degrees Celsius and Bhawani Patna at 9.9 Degree Celsius.
A litter over 10 Degree Celsius was recorded at Sundargarh (10.2) and Keonjhar (10.6).
Twin Cities, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, recorded 13.5 and 13.2 Degrees Celsius respectively. The weather office said the impact of the winter will be less from January 21 as a western storm is likely to happen.
Fog is likely to occur in some areas. Due to the presence of a trough on 22nd and 23rd, the amount of water vapour in the atmosphere will increase. As a result, the night temperature will rise.
