Fire Mishap / Firecrackers Explode on Scooter in Bhubaneswar; Two Injured

Bhubaneswar, Oct 15: At least two people sustained severe burn injuries after the firecrackers they were carrying on a scooter exploded on the Jaydev Vihar flyover along NH-16 in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday evening.

As per reports, the victims were transporting firecrackers on the two-wheeler when the explosives accidentally ignited, resulting in a loud blast.

Eyewitnesses said the explosion was intense enough to cause burns and minor injuries to nearby riders.

After getting information, police rushed to the spot and took the injured to a nearby hospital.
