Atharbanki, Aug 30: A youth sustained severe burn injuries while refilling a gas cylinder. The incident was reported from Atharbanki area of Jagatsinghpur's Paradip.

The youth, whose identity was not known immediately, was rushed to Atharbanki Medical College and Hospital, where he received emergency treatment. However, due to the severity of his condition, doctors have referred him to SCB Medical College, Cuttack for advanced care.

According to initial reports, the explosion caused serious damage to the victim’s face, leaving him critically injured.

Later, police rushed to the scene and launched an investigation into the cause of the explosion.
