Fire Breaks Out At MKCG Medical College And Hospital In Berhampur, No Casualty

Berhampur, Jan 7: A minor fire broke out at the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur, Odisha on Tuesday evening.

As per reports, the fire mishap took place at the medicine ward building of the State government-run hospital at around 5.30 PM. There were no patients present in the room when the mishap occurred.

After getting information, fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flame.

The fire is suspected to have been caused by a short-circuit and some beds and furniture stored in the ward were reportedly charred. However, no casualties were reported, sources said.
