Bolangir, Jul 28: A man and his son were killed after their motorcycle met with an accident at Jamakhunta on Khariar-Bhawanipatna road under Sindhekela Police Station in Bolangir district.

The deceased were identified as residents of Khasbahal village in Nuapadada district.

According to reports, the man and his son, who were on their motorcycle, reportedly lost control over the wheels while taking a turn at Jamakhunta. As a result, their bike skidded off and they both fell on the road, resulting their death on the spot.

On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe into the incident. The bodies were seized and sent to a local hospital for post-mortem.

A case has been registered into the incident and the family members of the victims have been informed.
