Rourkela, Apr 14: A shocking case of revenge unfolded in Bhaliupatra village under Brahmani Tarang police limits when a son took the life of his father in retaliation for his mother’s murder.

The deceased, 55-year-old Kranti Barma, had served time in prison for the killing of his wife. Upon his release, his son, Bishnu Barma, allegedly killed him out of anger over his mother’s death. Local authorities have arrested the accused and initiated a thorough investigation.
