Balangir, Oct 6: A fake doctor has been arrested by Sindhekela Police after multiple complaints by people. The accused has reportedly been identified as Palasa Biswas, who is a native of West Bengal.
He was operating an illegal private clinic in Sindhekela, under Bangomunda Block in Balangir district.
Biswas was operating the clinic for years before some of his activities created doubt in locals' minds. The people then lodged complaints in this connection.
Based on those complaints, a team from Titlagarh and Balangir arrived there and conducted a raid on the clinic.

✨The search team found evidence against Biswas and found out that he was not a doctor, rather a con. Later he was arrested in the presence of SDPO.
A case has been registered under Odisha Clinical Act and National Medical Commission Act. More details are awaited in this connection, as investigation is underway.
