Puri, Apr 25: A fake currency note-making racket was busted as youths nabbed three people with fake notes at Sada Pada village under Delanga police station in Puri district late on Thursday night.
The three youths, coming in a car, targeted some semi-educated people to transact fake notes with them. Knowing about their ill motive, some youths nabbed them and forced them to stay in the village till morning. As it got dawn, they handed the three over to the police.
Police detained the three people and questioned them.

✨The villagers have demanded stringent punishment for the victims. Police seized a car, a printer, some chemicals, fake currency notes, and two bags from the accused.
Of the three arrested, one was from the Chandanpur area, while the other two were from Bargarh. The Pipili SDPO said such cases were registered in other police stations against the arrested youth.
