At Baripada,
known as the second Shrikshetra, large crowds gathered at the revered Shri Shri
Haribaladev Ji (Jagannath) temple and the shrine of the city’s presiding deity Maa
Ambika. From early morning, devotees offered lamps and floral tributes, praying
for the well-being of their families in the year ahead.
The atmosphere in the temple town was charged with devotion and joy, as people performed rituals and extended wishes for happiness and harmony.
