Bhubaneswar, Apr 5: Former BJD Jagatsinghpur unit president Amarendra Das joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday, ahead of the general elections.

Das, joined the BJP at the state party head office here in the presence of Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal, election in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar & other senior leaders.

Amarendra Das, who was former Jagatsinghpur unit President resigned from the primary membership of the State ruling BJD on April 4.
