Puri, Sept 1: In another major step to maintain discipline in the Shreemandir premises, the Mohan Majhi government has deployed 20 Ex-Servicemen in the temple premises to help devotees feel secure in all aspects inside the shrine.
The main objective of the deployment of Ex-Servicement is to ensure discipline and reformation in the Ananda Bazaar area where Mahaprasad is sold to devotees and around the temple within the boundary wall. The Ex-Servicemen would be on duty in two shifts.
While 10 of them will be on duty from 6 am to 2 pm, the 10 others will work from 2 pm to 10 pm.

✨Devotees will not be harassed in any manner. The retired Army personnel will help devotees in trouble inside the temple premises,said an official of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration.
Devotees can also seek information regarding Darshan of deities and buying of Mahaprasad, the official said.
