Cuttack, Nov 11: As many as 30 elephants were seen crossing the roads of Pathapur under Banki area in Cuttack district this morning. The jumbo herd consisted of calves also. 

The pachiderms created havoc by eating up paddy plants, complained the farmers. The villagers said the herd has damaged hectares of paddy and vegetables.
