Boudh, June 3: In a tragic incident, a man was killed and three others sustained critical injuries as a van of the local electricity office rammed into a roadside tree at Badabandha under Purujakataka police station in Boudh district an hour ago.
The deceased was identified as Shiva Nag, the driver of the van. The three injured employees of the office of the Junior Engineer, Electricity, Charichhak, have been rushed to a nearby hospital.
According to the information, the employees were returning to Charichhak TPSODL office from Boudh when the driver lost control of the steering. As a result, the speeding van hit a tree on the roadside. Shiva Nag, the driver, profusely bled and died on the spot.
