Bhubaneswar, Nov 13: A couple who came to visit Lingaraj tempe during Diwali lost their life to a car accident done by a drunk man in Bhubaneswar last night.

According to reports, a couple from Ganjam's Digapahandi came to visit Lingaraj temple, while buying diya(erthen lamps) and kaunria (jute sticks). a driver who was in an abbreviated condition, moved his vehicle back hitting them.  

The woman was killed on the spot and her husband was soon  rushed to Capital hospital then shifted to AIIMS as his health condition deteriorated. 

The couple is identified as Sulochona Mohanty and Jurinath Bebrata.

Notedly, The owner of the car is identified as Old Bhubaneswar's Goutam Mishra. 

On being informed, local police has reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
