Bhubaneswar, Oct 20: On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state through a post shared by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on X on Monday.

The Chief Minister wished everyone happiness, peace, and prosperity, invoking the spirit of Diwali as a festival that dispels darkness and brings light into lives.

In his message, CM Majhi emphasized that Diwali is not just a celebration of light and joy, but also a time for reflection and spiritual awakening. “The presence of light removes darkness, and the light of knowledge rescues humanity from ignorance,” he said. He described the light of wisdom as a symbol of truth, righteousness, justice, and prosperity.

The Chief Minister also prayed that the sacred festival of Diwali fills every life with the light of knowledge and brings lasting happiness and harmony. He also urged citizens to celebrate the festival responsibly and in a spirit of unity.
