Dhenkanal: Several BJD, Congress Leaders Join BJP In Presence Of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan

Several leaders from Odisha's ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and Congress party joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday in the presence of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. 

Dhenkanal, Mar 4: Several leaders from Odisha's ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and Congress party joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here on Monday in the presence of Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan.

Odisha's former Panchayati Raj Minister Nabin Chandra Narayan Das, former Congress president of Dhenkanal district unit Suresh Panigrahi, former Kankadahada block chairman Kartik Sahu and several leaders and party workers from BJD and Congress of Dhenkanal and Parjang area joined the saffron party at the Misrana Parba (Joining ceremony) organised by BJP's Dhenkanal district unit.

Union Minister Pradhan welcomed all the leaders and their supporters to the BJP. He also thanked the new entrants of the saffron party for keeping their trust in 'Modi Guarantee' and joining the BJP.

Speaking on the occasion, Pradhan said, "The political experience and presence of the workers who have joined the BJP today will further strengthen our party organization at the grass root level including Dhenkanal district and make the PM Modi more stronger in the country."

"BJP’s popularity graph in Odisha has been rising day by day. Odisha is going to have a double-engine government this time," he added.

Pradhan also said the BJP-led NDA will form government again in 2024 and Narendra Modi will become Prime Minister for a third consecutive term.
