The anti-corruption sleuths today carried out simultaneous house searches at eight places in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Dhenkanal over the allegations of possession of assets by Mishra which is disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The vigilance sleuths have so far found Mishra and his family members possessing a two-storeyed building in Dhenkanal town, one flat in Bhubaneswar, two costly flats in Hyderabad, eight plots at prime locations in Bhubaneswar & Dhenkanal, one farm (spread across 5 acres of land) comprising a multi-storeyed farm house, poultry farm, horticulture nursery, and park in Athagarh area in Cuttack district.

✨The measurement and assessment of the above flats and plots are being carried out by the Vigilance Technical Wing, informed a senior Vigilance official.
Officials also unearthed gold ornaments weighing around 300 grams, a diamond necklace, Bank deposits over Rs.40 Lakhs, Cash Rs 4.13 lakh including Rs 1 lakh concealed in toilet flush tank, two cars (SUVs) and six two-wheelers etc. during the house searches.
The search operations were underway till the last report came in.
