Dhenkanal, Mar 15: The dead body of an engineering student was recovered from the Brahmani river near Sarang under the Parajanga police station limits in Dhenkanal district this morning.

The fire brigade reached the spot and started searching but he could not be traced.

This morning locals found him floating near the bridge and informed the police.
Police seized the body and sent it for post-mortem to Parajanga Community Health Centre.
