At an election meeting at Berhampur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that June 4 is the expiry date of the ruling BJD and the BJP CM would take oath on June 10. He invited all to the swearing-in ceremony of the BJP at Bhubaneswar.
The PM's assertion has come true with the thumping victory of the BJP in Odisha in both Assembly and Lok Sabha polls. The BJP has grabbed 78 Assembly seats against the requirement of 75 and a whopping 20 LS seats, the results of which were announced yesterday.
