✨Later, addressing the cultural festival Lumivox 2025 at VIMSAR, Pradhan described the event as a unique confluence of knowledge, service, and culture. He remarked that while advanced machines aid diagnosis, it is a doctor’s smile and reassurance that truly heals patients. “Doctors must be empowered for society to be empowered,” he said, stressing the importance of preventive healthcare alongside treatment.
Support for VIMSAR Development
Pradhan thanked the Odisha government for announcing a Rs1,600 crore special package for VIMSAR’s comprehensive development. He said new governance models, employment policies, and examination reforms would soon be implemented autonomously at the institute. He also assured that issues related to nursing hostels, paramedical staff, and recruitment processes would be addressed swiftly.
Expressing confidence in VIMSAR’s future, Pradhan said
graduates from the institute would play a leadership role in global medical
