"Dhadi Darshan' In Puri Shreemandir From New Year

Puri, Dec 22: To avoid rush and ensure a smooth Darshan of the Trinity--Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra-- in the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri, 'Dhadi Darshan' (queue system) will be introduced in the coming New Year i.e. January 1, 2025.
Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan said talks have already been made with the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) regarding the Dhadi Darshan. Symbolic Dhadi Darshan will be held on December 30 and 31, before introduction on the next day. According to the decision, devotees will enter in queues through 'Sata Pahacha Dwara (Seven Steps Gate) and exit through the 'Ghanti' and 'Garada' gates. While women devotees will exit through the 'Ghanti' Dwar, male devotees will go out through the 'Garada' Dwar.
