Bhubaneswar, Mar 31: East Coast Railway resumed normal train services after restoration work was completed ner Nergundi where the Bangalore-Guwahati AC SF Express derailed yesterday.
According to the ECoR, restoration was completed in war footing within 20 hours of the derailment. Railwaymen worked hard to restore the tracks by early morning of Monday to ensure normal train services.
The entire rescue and restoration work was overseen by ECoR General Manager at the site near Nergundi station.
