Bhubaneswar, Jan 18: In reaction to fromer MLA Deepali Das' demand for a CBI probe into her father Naba Das' killing case, Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Krushna Chandra Patra said the former Jharsuguda MLA is searching Aloo (potato) now.

Notably, Deepali was silent for the last two years since her father was gunned down by an Assitant Sub Inspector police. Recently, she alleged that her father was murdered by a police officer and demanded that a CBI probe be conducted into the ghastly act.

"Deepali is now searching for Aloo(potato). Let us see if Mahadev is found or not," the Minister said sarcastically.

The Minister said Deepali was silent to get an MLA ticket from the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) to which her father belonged. After getting elected, she also kept mum, remarked Patra.

"The conspiracy behind the murder of Naba Das should come out. The Crime Branch didn't conduct the investigation properly. Now, the government has changed at the State. The Chief Minister will take a final call," said the Food Supplies Minister.
