Bhubaneswar, Sep 22: The Odisha Legislative Assembly is expected to remain tense on its fourth consecutive day as opposition parties gear up to raise multiple contentious issues.
The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is likely to bring up allegations regarding the curtailment of powers of elected Panchayat representatives, ahead of its planned Assembly gherao on September 23.
The House has already witnessed two days of deadlock over the ongoing fertiliser crisis, with BJD demanding a full-fledged discussion by suspending all other proceedings. Repeated appeals for order by Speaker Surama Padhy have gone unheard, leading to adjournments and stalled legislative business.

Despite this, Congress is expected to raise the issue again on Monday, potentially intensifying the disruption.
All eyes are on how the Assembly functions on Day 4,
especially during the Question Hour, which includes queries to departments such
as Home, Health & Family Welfare, Finance, Electronics & IT, General
