Bhubaneswar, Apr 27: Odisha’s rich culinary heritage received international recognition when Japan’s Ambassador to India, Ono Keiichi, expressed his admiration for the state’s traditional cuisine during his recent visit. The envoy, who was in Sambalpur to attend the unveiling of a joint venture between JSW Steel and JFE Steel Corporation, took time to enjoy a traditional Odia meal featuring rice and Dalma - a signature dish made with lentils and vegetables.
