Cuttack, Nov 12: The deceased minor boy, whose body was recovered from the Mahanadi ghat at Kaliabuda in Cuttack city on Tuesday evening, was later identified as Gateshwar Ojha (13) of Mangalabag.
The Chauliaganj police sent the body for postmortem and started an investigation. The reason behind the death of the boy was yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, the body was recovered from the bed of Mahanadi behind the Kaliabuda crematorium ground. On being informed, the Chauliaganj police reached the spot and started an investigation.
