Cuttack, Feb 12: The Mathematics Department of the Netaji Subhas Memorial City College, Raja Bagicha, Cuttack, popularly known as City College, organised its annual seminar on Tuesday.

The seminar was held under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Subhadarshini Mohanty and the guidance of the Head of the Department (HoD) Dr. Debendra Nath Dash.

Former Lecturer of the college, Dr Harish Chandra Sahu, graced the event as chief guest. Dr Sahu talked about the importance of mathematics in the education system.

On the occasion, a question-answer session was held in which Dr. Sahu and Dr. Dash responded to students' questions most amicably and cleared their doubts. Students and Lecturers of various departments participated in the seminar.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Subhasree Senapaty, Lecturer of the Mathematics Department.
