Cuttack, Nov 11: In a sorrowful incident, a man died and three others sustained critical injuries after being attacked by a bull at the Bhuashuni riverbed in the Bidanashi area of Cuttack city today. 

Thought bull had been attacking people since yesterday, yet CMC and police could not control it. 

Akshaya Behera of Bidanasi was going to take a bath in the Mahanadi when the bull attacked it.  Akshaya reportedly died on the spot. Three people were injured in its attack earlier. 

Tension escalated in the area as locals gathered in large numbers and staged a protest. Normalcy was restored only after the bull was caught and taken to a veterinary point for treatment.
