Cuttack, Sep 25: The much-awaited plot registration process for the historic Bali Jatra 2025 is set to commence on Friday, marking the beginning of preparations for one of Odisha’s grandest cultural fairs.

Interested individuals and organizations can apply for plot registration from September 26 to October 9, 2025.

This year, the Cuttack district administration has streamlined the application process, allowing each applicant — individual or institution — to apply for up to three plots. The registration form is available for ₹100 and can be accessed through the official website cuttack.odisha.gov.in.

Applicants must submit separate applications for food stalls and other categories, ensuring better organization and categorization of stalls during the event. The plot registration fee for 2025 has been fixed at ₹5,000, maintaining affordability while supporting efficient fair management.

Bali Jatra, held annually on the banks of the Mahanadi River, commemorates Odisha’s ancient maritime trade links with Southeast Asia. The fair attracts lakhs of visitors and showcases a vibrant mix of traditional crafts, food, entertainment, and cultural performances.

The administration has urged applicants to adhere to the guidelines and deadlines to ensure a smooth registration process. With the anticipation building, vendors and cultural enthusiasts are gearing up to be part of this iconic celebration of Odisha’s heritage.
