Nuapada, Oct 9: In a shocking incident, a man has crossed all the limits of cruelty trying to end his own children's lives.

The incident has been reported from Kotiapada village under Boden police station limits in Nuapada district.

Kishore Majhi, the accused father, was reportedly having a family dispute with his wife Jayanti Majhi. 

Unable to bear the torture of Kishore, Jayanti ran away to her mother's house leaving both her children -- a two years old daughter and a 14-month old boy -- with her husband.

In frustration, Kishore took his children to a nearby forest where he first killed his son before stabbing his daughter with a knife.

However, the girl was later rescued in critical condition and was admitted to Boden Medical. As per reports, the girl is undergoing treatment. 

Kishore, on the other hand, fled from the scene after committing the heinous act and he is absconding.
