Nabarangpur, Jun 30: Vigilance authorities have conducted raids across eight locations linked to former Soil Conservation Executive Engineer of Rayagada, Dayanidhi Bagh, uncovering vast properties allegedly amassed in his and his family’s names.
One of the most notable discoveries includes a 41-acre farmland in Bijaraguda, Tentulikhunti block, Nabarangpur district. The land was reportedly leased to a businessman from Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, and is currently being cultivated under the banner of SKF Company for crops like turmeric, chilli, and tomatoes.
The raids also revealed:
- An under-construction house facing the Nabarangpur Circuit House.
- A 6-acre farmhouse in Potakat with teak plantation on an adjoining 1.78-acre plot.

Officials have seized ₹55 lakh in bank deposits, a suspected unknown car, ownership of 11 acres of land near Bhawanipatna and a shopping complex in central Nabarangpur.
The coordinated operation was conducted by the Vigilance teams of Nabarangpur and Jeypore, with inquiries expanding to identify additional undisclosed assets in the district and beyond.
