The deceased woman's body was found floating this morning.
According to the information, the sorrowful incident occurred in Alapuadia village of Alapua gram panchayat under the Pattamundai police station limits in the district. Manjulanta Bhanja of the village had gone to bathe in the nearby river. She was dragged into deep water by a crocodile. Fire and ODRAF personnel searched for her a lot. But she could not be traced by the last evening.

✨Some locals found her body floating on the river at Kulasahi. His body was found half-mauled.
Her body, recovered by fire personnel, has been sent to Kendrapada DHH for postmortem.
