Champua, July 18: A tragic incident has been reported from the Tata Steel Hospital in Joda, Champua, where a female patient allegedly died by suicide late last night by slitting her own throat.

The deceased, a resident of Uli Hatting area, was admitted to Ward No. 7 of the hospital.

According to reports, the woman had been undergoing treatment for a severe leg infection for the past ten days. The circumstances surrounding her death have prompted the local police to launch an investigation.

Authorities are currently examining hospital records, staff statements, and surveillance footage to determine how the incident occurred within a medical facility.
